When England elects a party that wants independence.
No wonders you are posting anonymously.
There are many, many posts by a hell of a lot of users just asking for the return of bookmarks. Definitely not a minority.
This joke of a pretend browser isn't even worth installing just to laugh at. If they can't even get the basics right then it has no future.
So do I and your post pretty much sums up my experience with it too.
None of the above I'm afraid.
My Opera under DDoS attack.
"Nobody uses it, nobody will use it"
Really? Speak for yourself. I know more people using Opera than using any of the other 3 combined.
But there again you already knew that since you know what we all use or don't use.
Without you I may never have started tinkering with computers.
That first VIC-20 started me on a life of pleasure.
Indeed Tony How could you forget Slade in Flame.
The best one of them all.
Flame icon because it seemed apt ;)
Those of us who like to hear every note of the music will still buy CD's
Lossy formats are OK if you are listening through the tinny headphones of your media player but garbage through a decent Hi-Fi system. The record labels know that and I'm quite sure I will be buying them for years to come.
Thank you BBC and Bernie.
You have just lost a lifelong F1 fan and viewer.
I have no interest in watching only some races, poxy highlights or listening to it on the radio.
Seriously who would listen to it on the radio?
Give us all the races or piss off completely.
Exactly! It's a games console for playing games on, not for watching boring films on.
Those of you who are worried about the price of additional controllers have no need to.
Wii U will only come with one controller. You will not be able to buy more - one controller, one machine.
As to the Wii U itself. I want one now.
Oh they have. No point in me posting it then.
What a plank.
If you do, stop right now.
Buy The Beano or The Dandy instead. They are much funnier and the stories have more factual information than anything the Sun will ever print.
"at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/england/ scroll to the bottom, and try to select the parts of the UK.. works ok in FF.."
It works fine here Opera. I can select any part of the UK no problem.
What's the matter is Opera too difficult for you.
It's Radiohead it's supposed to be shite.
"Staff at UK electrical retailers such as Currys and Comet know nothing about the products they're selling"
This is news? I thought that was common knowledge.
I'm sick of their oversubscribed service that means my browsing speed at peak times is abysmal. Then they have the nerve to come out with something like this.
Virgin get your own house in order before you start commenting on other IsP's misleading their customers.
Fecking joke of a piss-poor company.
That is one job you could never pay me enough to do.
It saved me having to type it all in.
They were lucky to get out of the group stage.
Now I can enjoy the rest of the world cup without in-ger-land being mentioned every 5 minutes during any match that they are not involved in.
No future for you. If you are old, sick or disabled you might as well end it all now as there will be nothing for you from the rich kids.
Because Virgin media would throttle it straight away when you try to use it.
Well for us poor ADSL saps anyway.
What more can you say.
You guys are just so silly :o)
Fix your bloody ADSL service first so that we who use it can get more than the pathetic 0.5Mb/s we are getting at peak times at the moment. Get that fixed you morons then you can do other things.
If it was then Virginmedia would be in big trouble at the moment as they are throttling us customers on their ADSL service at peak times and have been for over a month now.
If you get speeds over 0.5Mb/s at peak time you're doing well
It would be nice if something like The Register would take them to task on this issue. (hint, hint)
Been using Pocomail for years now, excellent mail client. Can't stand web mail.
Downloaded, installed and no issues with menu bar text. No problem with any sites. No problem with text fields being visible. So I don't understand the ones who are having these problems.
What's the matter, Opera too complicated for you? Or just FF fan boys having a dig?
Just joking. I know what they are and if I get my hands on a PC with them I uninstall them.
Never had one on my PC though as an Opera user it's something I never have to worry about.
After the first round anyway. So no point in wasting time on some dirge that nobody can stand anyway.
Spiderman 1,2 and 3 were crap. So who cares?
You don't pay for Opera.
Adblock in Opera just use the built in blocker.
Opera link for bookmarks,,,,, etc.. etc.
It's just a pity Slade are remembered for this one song rather than any other of their great tunes.
Hard to think it was way back in 1973 when it went straight to number one and still sounds fresh today.
Give me this over any of that X factor crap any day.
"No one is forcing Opera to bow down to this enforced censorship".
Really? what do you think would happen to Opera's Chinese staff if they did not comply. They would probably be imprisoned or worse.
"over 30 million unique users " but how many new users? 5 or 6 I would imagine.
I'm glad I left it for Opera years ago.
A happy Opera user.
That is all.
I have enjoyed reading you every month for years.
You will be missed.
