I don't know about the UK situation, but here in New Zealand, it's the incredibility high data charges that keep people away.

Mobile operators are really shooting themselves in the foot with their ridiculous data rates.

The problem it doesn't work, or at best causes workers huge inefficiencies. Not to mention the safety aspect, which I would imagine are important in the MOD. I work in a NZ government organisation that deals with sensitive data, and we are not even allowed to use IE now (any version)

We all have cellphones with us anyway to do that, and the camera in my SE is a damn sight better than anything a crappy apple product would have.

Why do they constantly add all these retarded "features" like video, photo, etc etc, when they won't even add USEFUL things like radio, or making them even slightly resistant to the odd raindrop.

I'm seriously thinking of just getting an N96 and ditching my ipod.

What I hate most about biometric "security" is that once it's compromised it can't be changed which is why I still thing that PIN's, documents etc are the safest, most reliable forms of security - if they are broken they can be CHANGED.

As much as i hate IE...

When you start-up windows it IS nice to have A browser to get you started.. Do you have to go to the hassle of booting up another PC now, downloading Firefox then putting it on a flash drive, then installing in on your new pc, all just to get the internet running?

Though I'm sure it will be a "critical update" to install IE as soon as you plug in your internet connection =D
