Suffolk
Strange as I live and work each side of the Norfolk/Suffolk border, drive up and down the A140 to work and I maybe get a digital signal for a third of the 15 mile journey at best

"The GPL requires no timetable for releasing source"
What a load of crap the GPL doesn't need a timetable simple if you distribute you release not when you're ready or at some specified or unspecified time in the future.
I would love to see the look on the cops face next time I'm pulled over for speeding and I say "you can't give me a ticket as I was going to slow down in a week or seeing as the sign doesnt give a timeline"
As for the anonymouse cowherd, its a legal requirement, not just to satisfy anybodies whim

70% of active webservers run a *nix of some sort only 18% are M$ not exactly a niche market or home developers, also the list of major companies and government orgs that are switching to linux is ever growing.
The only reason Companies, Governmenst and charities run M$ is because tools like you tell them linux can't run the software they need which is downright bollocks. There are some specialist apps that might need windows but most of them can be run via VM and most companies just need a word processor, email and spreadsheet all of them run perfectly and more securely than on windoze. So take your so called facts and shove them where the sun don't shine
I am a long time suse user going back to 6 and have inbetween times tried all the other major distros and if we're honest there is very little to choose between buntu fedora and opensuse, kbuntu is nowhere near as polished a kde experience as opensuse, opensuse's gnome experience is similar.
As for the microsoft/novell bs opensuse distanced itself form that very quickly and today ubuntu is more monofied than opensuse.
So leave the partisanship crap behind and just rejoice that we have the freedom to choose whichever distro we prefer.
Biggest problem with ANdroid in europe is lack of handsets ie even after the sucess of Motarola's Droid in US still no UK carrier for it. Another thing is upgrades US android users get upgrades long before UK/EU.
With Google's size and money a concerted ad campaign similar to iphone would soon make a difference, lets face it people think iphone because it's continually rammed down the throats of anyone who even glimpses at a tv
As has been said the lovely Miss Friel has no inhibitions about exposing her small but beautifully formed breasts and has done so on TV in the past. The phone grabbing though has had the desired effect and got the red tops squealing about a bit of free tit
Paris because Anna's are better
I've sent this idea to mps the pm local council etc
change Planning laws so that every new private dwelling has a minimum 25% of solar power/heating and commercial properties a minimum of 75% roof/floor area or no planning permission.
Sure it'd add a few quid to the cost of a house but economy of scale would bring the price down rapidly.
Paris because I'm leaving the fucking of trees to her
NHS I am fortunate enough to be fit and well and rarely see a doctor let alone go to a hospital so why should I subsidise all the scroungers that do?
I live in the country and drive to work along a pot-holed country road so why should I subsidise motorways etc?
To those who said I didn't pay for the original 60's BT landline to my house well neither did any towney.
What do I do in the country? I provide the food that you eat, so lets tell everyone to move to the towns so they can get the same standard of living and watch everyone starve.
@Charles
So what about NZ you are one, I know a few more who would die for better than 2Mbps and what about in 5-10 years time will that 2Mbps still be enough? Could you still manage now with a 14.4 connection?
Can I claim copyright infringement? must be worth a couple of pints

£29billion
By Lan ser Posted Friday 15th May 2009 13:45 GMT
£29 Billion works out at £500 per person in the UK spread that out over the 10 years or so it's take to complete and thats £50 a year a single solitary british squid a week, sounds like a bargain to me for a 10gb connection.
