If the road was private, I guess they could have told the driver where to go, but if it wasn't, isn't obstruction of the highway an offence that lets the police club the shit out of you these days?

It's good marketing.
6 months later and the seller wouldn't have been able to sell for much as her "amazing recovery" would lower the price.
If she really DOES have cancer, I feel sorry for her kids, but don't care much past that as thousands all over the world live with it and they don't get fuck knows how much for their stories of bravery.
Spend the money on something decent.
Seriously, in the closing down sales, for the price of an HDTV, Sky HD subscription and telly licence, you could buy so damn much. All the DVDs of Simpsons and Futurama that would be repeated ad nausium anyway for example.
That ought to elevate the mood.
I think this is exactly the reason we and america need to join forces and ban extreme sci-fi. Obviously, this fella watched one too many episodes of stra trek and it made.. nay, forced him to commit these crimes.
Why won't someone think of the kiddies?

My little brother loves this weather. He drives round in his REAL landrover and charges people to tow their X5s and fronteras out of ditches.
I however just find it a nuisance. I have to walk a little more carefully, but the opportunities to take some awesome pix on my cameraphone are worth it.
I like the fact that they have a new take on stuff and HAVEN'T hailed it as a cure all. They admit it's a bridge and IMHO, if the future is (as it seems to be) based on nuclear energy power stations, I wholeheartedly welcome any system that can help reduce the impact of the waste. It sounds a little more friendly than dumping it somewhere.
This is great; reconditioning organs is such a fantastic idea. I'm glad that
a) there's now a chance that a case of "we found a donor, but their lungs were too shot to use" will be eiliminated
b) I can treat my body like sh*t in good concience because I know that if my lungs are needed after I'm gone, they can be reconditioned.

I think there's a big difference between protecting "free speech" and causing fear and panic.
Essentially, this guy essentially said "If your child has eaten this food, it'll die".
There's a law in this country and I assume in the US too that covers causing fear, which is what this guy did on a large scale.
Financial loss for the company would be an issue too. I suspect that there will still be some stigma in panicky parents minds that connects the company with "poisoned foods" which could lead to losses.
It's a bit garish, but I like the idea. From an automotive POV, the low weight is a very good idea and... I dunno, I always thought small FIATs were *supposed* to look quirky.
It looks like it has personality, isn't too much slower than a cinquecento and shows that EVs can be fun.
Where do I sign up?
I may have missed it, but just who decided that this was potentially illegal? Surely if IWF had looked at it, they could asscertain for certain the legality?
Also, I'm assuming that the people who *did* make the decision are in jail now as obviously seeing such corrupting images will turn them into peados in the blink of an eye.
