Upon reflection, I much preferred the endless drone of the aircraft engines, the airline food and the mindless boredom.
Agreed, the scene where the old tub is fired up and sent out to battle was a head-desk (or head-tray) moment.
Who knew they kept live munitions on a museum ship?
I've observed plenty of ignorant types using all manner of PEDs during periods when crew are seated and strapped in for take off and landing.
Cameras, music players, mobiles, you name it. On a recent flight and during landing, a crew member openly allowed a nearby parent to hand hold a running portable DVD player (tray table down) so that Junior could finish watching Toy Story 2, no doubt for the 300th time.
These rules you speak of, who actually follows them?
Up that way, roads are scarce, good roads even more so.
The main road to Mildurah is tarred and has signs + painted road markings, this is as good as it gets.
Leaving the main road would only offer you 4wd tracks.
Turn off at your own peril.
Better yet, turn off your iPhone
- A vision impaired parent interested in knowing rules and regs applicable to their sighted child?
- A person with poor reading skills, but reasonable spoken word ability
- A vision impaired student/teacher researching licensing Info
- A person with poor vision contrast
- A person who needs text to be magnified beyond the usual standard
The list goes on and on.......besides, it's simply the right thing to do.
