Sweden?

Sure that "my country" Sweden would be in the Top 3. Or at least Top 5. Had to find out why not and was stunned to see that the latest figures put the percentage of homes using WiFi at a measly 15%!

Most of the people I know have a working WiFi at home in addition to some broadband connection. Further investigation and analysis required. In the meantime: Use that WiFi Swedes, now that you've bought iPads and the like for vegetating in front of the telly while updating that Facebook profile!

The most common way to get online in Sweden is DSL, with 87% of homes using it. 3G/4G is second with close to 40%. In toto 93% of Swedish homes have an Internet connection.

Saul Zaentz ? Ah, that explains it. The same company that in 1985 sued 1970's rocker John Fogerty for the song The Old Man Down The Road on the album Centerfield saying in was plagiarizing Down On The Corner that John had written for his group Creedence Clearwater Revival back in 1969.. Saul lost the case btw.

But in a compromise got John/the record company to change the title of one of the songs on that 1985 album from Zanz Kant Danz to Vanz Kant Danz. It was about a pig that steals your money. You do the math.

As a non-player looking at this preview I get the feeling the world of computer/console/online games is in even worse shape than the movie industry. The same old square jawed guys with guns. Does anything happen except the graphics getting better? Can I get a list of five truly original, creative and good games? Do they exist? Can I put off buying a Playstation, XBox or whatever yet another year?

What's all this "jailbreaking" I keep reading about in connection with iPhones. I would've thought such a popular piece of technology would come complete without the need to tamper with the construction?

As a fellow Swede I would like to remind Niklas and potential users that there is no such thing as a free lunch ... or mobile broadband. You just might have to look a bit harder for the ads or equivalent. But believe me; it's there.

As an owner of Samsung Jet running Bada I must agree that Samsung is hiding its developement of Bada extremely well. I haven't seen a single update since I bought the piece of plastic a couple of years ago.

The lack of support from popular sites like Bambuser coupled with the distinct lack of apps for the very basics of web 2.0 is amazing.

Bada. For users who prefer things basic and half-heartedly executed. (TM)

As a long time user of various basic Google services I sign up to get an invitation to Google+, but so far blatantly ignored by Google. Apparently 27 million were found more worthy than me. :(

I would guess that early adopters of ANY kind of Apple product is likely to be happy about their purchase simply because that's why they bought it; to be an early adopter. Ergo: Happy.

And who'll be the first to point out that spending a lot of time in bed could be proof that iPad owners have taken one more step towards an online-only life and away fromm interacting face to face with other human lifeforms.

As I recall when they arrived they were the pinnacle of sound. Futuristic, shiny silver platters sans scratches and noise. They had the ultimate in sound reproduction, and you couldn't scratch or wear them out like vinyl. They were ... perfect.
