Sony PS3 Slim

PS2 Backwards compatability

The "fat" versions of the PS3 lost this several years ago, back when it lost its third and fourth USB ports and its card reader.

Besides, who buys a PS3 to play PS2 games? At this point, God Of War 2 (perhaps the last "big" title) is three years old, and you can still buy a PS2 for half nothing.

Obviously...

I'm with the wankers, but I use OpenDNS, and I've no issues.

UK console sales defy credit crunch

Stop

If the Xbox won, then not by much...

"The PS3’s sales have risen from 400,000 units to 1.4m units..."

1.4m - 0.4m = 1m

"...the Xbox 360’s rise from 1.3m units to 2.3m units..."

2.3m - 1.3m = 1m

Assuming there's a bit of rounding going on here, it's possible that the Xbox did ship more units this year, but not many.

Thumb Up

@Alistair

Bingo! You got it! If anyone can pull mainstream users from IE, it's Google.

Imagine it - a little message on google's homepage - "Try our new internet experience!" or something like that. Bam! That's gonna erode a fairly significant proportion of IE users, at least a couple of percent.

Maybe they'll start bundling it with things like desktop search or toolbar for IE...

I think God put Russell Crowe here to test my faith...
