A coward

Are you having some post me internal squabble with yourself ap you wrote both the first and fourth posting. Did you just change your mind?

Fake cash as bait!

They turn up with a suitcase full of fake cash and say 'you can have this, or invest a bit more for a lot more'. Greed takes over and once they've seen the money they are more likely to not think they're being ripped off.

Come on . . . .

It did say something about how using solar, wind and other types would be the future. It's not saying this would solve the energy problem but it could help produce some energy. If all the bikes and treadmills in all the gyms were hooked up it would produce a nice amount. If the block floor thing was installed at all the shopping malls and airports etc it would help. Just as in Israel everyone has solar panels on their roofs and the electricity goes back to the Nat grid when they ain't using it. It all helps. If we all recycled and composted our green waste it would help. Taking the piss doesn't.

I use it every day.

With an N73 and no internet access at home I use my unlimited data plan and do my banking, eBay and everything else on my phone. There are only a few sites that I can't get to work and for those a phone call will do. Build it and they will come.

Different products.

When the iPod first came out the alternatives were pretty poor and the Apple phenomena was nowhere the size it is now. The iPhone is different as there are better phones out there for better prices too. Also Apply used to be seen as the good guy compared to MS but is now seen as just another greedy corp. It'd have to be a lot better than it is to get me to lose my N95.

English is an ever changing language

Just cos it ain't in the OED don't mean it ain't a word. English vocab has regional variations and mispronounciations that are just as valid. If people use it it's a word. Innit?

I've just signed my second 18 month contract with 3 and have found the India based technical staff well informed and able to help every time. Not all the options get you through to knowledgeable staff but my experience has been great. I've even had to send my new N73 back twice (once due to software, the other due to me dropping it) and my other phone back once and every time it's been sent by me (my choice, they did offer to collect ) and delivered back within a week with the proble solved. Even when I had a problem with an unexpected 250 quid bill due to data charges as when you get x series as an add on the 1gig of data has to last you for two months. They removed the charges and now send you a text to tell you when you are approaching your limits.

The shop staff however seemed to know NOTHING about their products and I had to tell them about some features of the x series 3 months after it had come out as the girl in the shop had heard of it but knew nothing about it.
