Statcounter tells us something else

I'm not sure what kind of statistics Microsoft uses but for example in Russia which was mentioned as one of the Windows Phone success lands Statcounter statistics shows that WP share has been quite stable 2.5% for the last 6 months while iOS has grown from 16% to over 25% market share.

Statcounter puts WP to "other" category in many other of those mentioned success countries for example India and Poland, so it's hard to tell exactly how they are "kicking Apple in the core".

Hi from Finland! My ISP has blocked access to ThePirateBay and a lot of people are pissed off. I'm so suprised to still see this kind of comments. If you don't understand anything about the issue then please do not comment!

Copyrights are not equal to right to copy. In fact they have nothing in common.

For example one of my friends in Finland has copyrights to a composition called "The Battle for Free Internet", but he wants you to listen, download and share this musical piece in the internet as much as possible.

I also recommend you to do it. It is an excellent prove of how good music and culture we could spread throughout the whole globe if only those old time record companies could end their death struggle and their whining. We don't need them anymore.

Windows doesn't "just work"

My 80 years old father is using Kubuntu without any problems. Before I installed Kubuntu on his computer he had XP on it. In those days he used to call me almost every day because of some trouble with his computer.

I can tell you that the number of "help desk" phone calls from my father are rarities now. Contrast to the windows time is huge!

(K)ubuntu just works. Windows doesn't!

I could list quite a lot of things missing from WP7 that all it's competitors have. For example:
