There is one of the very last gasps of a dying company, folks.

Why is it?
Why is it that we keep hearing about all these sites that charge for access to kiddie porn, and all about the people who pay for it and how they have to be stopped one by one to stamp it out, but we never seem to hear about how these site operators continue to be able PROCESS credit card information in the first bloody place?
I gotta think that if you start with the website operators, chances are there will be nothing to sell access to in the first place.
Plus, who cares if the card is fake? The record companies seem to be able to find downloaders for civil cases - but the police can't even be bothered to read a freaking web server log just because they might have a pre-paid card without info?
Unless it is fixed right, all killing prepaid cards will do is increase the number of stolen cards being used instead. That could easily mean YOUR card gets scooped and used for this. Or, more important to the lawmakers - THEIR cards too.
The smell of success
I gotta wonder if he has his office repainted every time the google home page changes (to match, in solidarity you know?) Clearly the fumes are starting to get to the poor fellow.
Can you imagine what happened when they added the custom background images? No wonder they cancelled it - he needed time to install a window that could open!
Canada's most reliable network?
Reliable at what? Digging through your data?
Encryption only works so far, eventually they will cross the line and sniff the client and server ends to confirm its bittorrent and kill it.
And if that doesn't work, eventually the dsl upstream will make people jealous of dialup users as they reduce it further and further.
