Love the socialist speak

"rebate from US taxpayers"

Yeah, the US took lollipops from little children and gave them to the evil corporations who used them to poison puppy dogs.

Rebate means that they received money back they have already paid in. ffs!

And shouldnt the questions be why are we paying so much tax, not why are they paying so little?

UK PM May's response to London terror attack: Time to 'regulate' internet companies

ooFie
Trollface

Re: Theresa May says 'enough is enough'

No, No, quite right Doctor Syntax

We should just leave them alone to carry on regardless, whats a few more dead little girls?

Yeah the rule of law has always been exactly the same and has never changed for any reason.

Its obvious that at the moment things arent working, so a change is not only needed but right to do so.

And it doesnt matter if these people are UK born, its obvious they dont identify as being British nor believe in British ideals, they are supporters of ISIS - an enemy we are at war with so reintroducing Defence Regulation 18B wouldnt be a bad idea. (oh look a law that came into being as soon as a need was recognised and removed when it was no longer needed, not set in stone as you appear to think it is)

Its great how you virtue signalling cucks are always first in line to defend the law when its suits you but never have the balls to suggest to do what is needed when its needed.

So carry on with your little hashtags and shutting down of anyone attempting to speak up and I'll watch as the growing anger and resentment turn into hate, then watch your snowflake hypocritical responses when some lunatic does something drastic.

But maybe I'm being to harsh, maybe hashtags can change the world.

Theresa May says 'enough is enough'

Really PM TM what are you going to do?

Are you going to stop the flood of immigration, (excluding Women & Families) And only allow men who can actively prove their identity will be allowed through and stopping those who do not share our values at all, and are not running from a war zone, and expect them to enter the nation as we would expect anyone else to?

Are we going to give the police authority to deport anyone they suspect of activity planning terrorists attacks, (because I dont know about some of you, but I really am getting fed up with hearing the phrase, 'suspect was known to police')?

Are you going to put the ring leaders already in prison into solitary confinement, to prevent them from radicalizing other prisoners, and attempt to break up the number of radicals groups already in there?

PM TM: er.. No!

Then what are you going to do?

PM TM: we're going to monitor the internet in case someones feefee's get hurt!

And I wonder why people are actively considering voting for a communist?!

@codejunky

Sounds like your drinking the same libertarian cool aid I am.

I seriously dont know why, but I still get surprised by some of the things these guys do.

Its like they want to believe that if they not only deny any sort of conversation, but ignore the fact the *insert subject* exists at all, that it will suddenly go away?!

Sorry but life isnt like that, you stop people from being able to use words to address and discuss, shout & rave then they only options they have left is to use actions, and no I dont think that actions are necessarily always a good thing, especially if it is the result of anger that tptb didnt even acknowledged.

So far after the Dutch & French elections the EU patted itself on the back declaring that the spread of the Nationalists had been halted (other people used words like fascist and nazis, white Supremacist etc 'sic', you know because of 'tolerance' towards anybody who doesnt agree with them)

Yet looking at the numbers it is anything but, the amount of Nationalist growth in most EU continue to grow and yeah I want to see how long this goes before it bites them in the arse.

And the Tories can go screw themselves if they want to introduce this crap, but on the plus side even if they do, at least we will have the ability to overturn it in the future..

...assuming we can find a suitable slimeball er.. sorry politician to pick up the cause - Sorry EU

Manufacturers reject ‘no deal’ Brexit approach

ooFie

Re: punish the UK

I dont underestimate our own bunch of fuknuggets to royally screw it up (face it you'd have to be a complete 'tard not to)

But in this case based solely on what is being said and the general attitudes being displayed I would put the EU at the higher chance of spanner throwing that the UK (but that is not to dismiss the UK).

Frankly I am more in favor of a Hard Brexit, as unappetising as that is to swallow.

But I feel that would slap these rejects into reality and see this is about trade and people lives, NOT degenerating into political dick swinging.

0
0
ooFie

I'd...

Honestly be surprised by any other result other than no deal.

Some of the EU-Pro brass has already talked about wanting to punish the UK for leaving and will put up conditions the UK has already said it isnt willing to give up.

Then after all is said and done the EU has to get ALL members to agree on it, and this regardless of how well or badly the talks have been, this is where it will all fall down, someone somewhere will use this as their own political leverage against not necessarily the UK, but for their own wranglings within the EU.

For example Germany has a lot vested in the UK, and would be extremely painful just to give it up (car industry in particular, not saying they couldn't just that rather they wouldnt) so what would stop say Greece throwing in a spanner to help themselves? (we all know the situation in Greece and their current view of the Germans)

I dont doubt their will be trade agreements but I just dont seeing it as part of the talks.

Free-trade is the best deal for all sides, unfortunately the world is run by fuknuggets.

Had this happened in the States he would of been ousted a long time ago.

Its by no means perfect, your last election was between a flaming piece of shit and a war criminal, and sensibly most Americans took the logical step and just stayed home.

But if anything it just means that western nations really need to think about implementing a "None Of The Above" option on votes, meaning that if the people dont like what they see and "NOTA" wins, they start again with with new candidates.... and the old ones are shot into the sea via catapult, trebuchet or other medieval means of propulsion... okay.. okay I know you Americans prefer Canon's its not a sticking point with me..

Anti-TV Licensing petition gets May date for Parliament debate

ooFie
Facepalm

Re: Okay mr lets tax everyone regardless.. because reasons?!!?

"You use that term "commercially viable" like it is the only criterion."

Because in a FREE market it is, if it is successful then it is popular, if it isnt then its not, people will pay for what is worth paying for, everyone on here keeps saying that the BBC is worth paying for because they paid their TV licence, well okay then IF it is so good and provides goof quality of service, then changing to a voluntary subscription rather than a tax you must opt out of and prove time and again of your innocence would be a better thing all round surely.. you know having the money to go into programming rather than spending it on people going round with Vans and other unneeded bureaucratic positions, and instead of throwing people into jail for not paying, you just cut them off (seriously why are people really supporting a system where throwing someone in jail is an option, anyone here heard of anyone going to jail for not paying their sky/virgin bill?) which would also help keep court and prison costs down.. or is that something else that we shouldnt do?!

"I want there to be an efficient transport system that adds to the economic and social health of the country,"

So.. you want an efficient system, but you think that best way to achieve that is to throw every ones money at it?!

efficient system do NOT require, tax money or protectionism. in fact doing that makes them inefficient!

So your argument makes no sense.

And neo-liberals do not need to know the price of anything, because free markets will determine what that is at a fair economical price, and Value is attributed to those things that have worth, Commercially and/or Socially. But please dont stop that from using sneering cliches'

1
1
ooFie
Alert

Okay mr lets tax everyone regardless.. because reasons?!!?

If everyone is happy in paying the tax er.. sorry 'licence' every year, then everyone should be happy paying a subscription right?

If the BBC is producing content that you like then you should be happy to paid the same amount of money as a subscription rather than a tax.

All the supposedly good shows the BBC produces would also be commercially viable right?

So not only would they get the income from the subscription they could sell the shows as they already do.

So why do we have this archaic tax system? It really makes no sense!

And all the counter arguments I've seen on here to continue the tax are either bias or simply wrong.

Its frankly not a million miles away from the Film and Music industry refusing to move with the times, where they punish people who dont want to used their old models for product. And they come off looking like complete bullies.

Turn the BBC subscription based, near complete digital format and sell it world wide, then you wouldnt need to tax the people of one tiny island nation who have less and less money each year.

Kodi streams appear to be in all the news at the second, but yet the providers STILL refusing to see the potential markets.. it frankly boggles the mind.

The growth of Netflix and Amazon Prime show that the model does work and yes they do provide some really good content, more REAL competition would be a good thing and even though I dont watch the BBC all that much I do believe it would be a good standard with which the market would have to compete against.

But to get to that stage we first really have to stop living in 1977.

Even then, judging from Putin's past action, even if trump puts his hair on to tight one morning and acts against Russia, he will take a wait and see approach.

The only time I have see Russia move with immediate response is when large number of troops are placed near their borders.

We put 5000 troop near their border, they put 10,000 on the other side.

We fly spy planes over their military test facilities, they buzz battleship's with fighter jets..

Then again if Russia didn't want war I guess they should put their borders so near our military bases..

Russia has put in enough bomb shelters to house a very large part of their population, I have no idea what nation you may hail but ask yourselves what preparation has your government put in place to protect the population if a war ever broke out?

You may reasonably ask what sort of nation would need to build bomb shelters?
