Here in Dublin Hailo and the like work well with existing taxi licence owners. Ireland deregulated taxi licencing to the point that anyone can take the test and sign up to drive them.

I do agree though to an extent with the Berlin rules in that I do not think taxi driving should be a complete free for all. There is a risk for people just jumping on board without proper insurance and with a possibly unsafe car.

I think the term tax avoidence is a misnomer, the money will eventually be moved somewhere where it will be taxed ( or invested ) it is just parked currently in a tax nomans land. When Apple want to use it in the US or elsewhere they will have to pay tax to repatriate it. This shows up on their accounting for the year, so to please shareholders and make their profits look "nicer" they keep the cash at arms length untill required.

Hmm would be more interesting if they had developed a way to harvest enough energy to make it self powering.

Lefthand mice

I have been thinking about purchasing a more comfortable mouse but don't want to take the dive without a bit of research into the pros and cons of ergonomic lefthanded mouse vs an ambidexterous one.

From reading the reviews of the ergonomic ones on amazon it appears that opinions are mixed in that the shapes of them would not suit everyone.

The way I currently use a normal ambi mouse is to leave it setup for righthanded clicking and to pinch it between thumb and 2nd finger from left, then click using only the index finger for both buttons. This does result in some stress on my wrist.

Has anyone found a really good lefthanded mouse?
