Go boffins!
Refined observations aren't nearly as sexy as initial observations which show up in headlines. E.g. Initial observation - "Tabby's Star may have alien megastructure". Refined observation - "no it doesn't".
But we can learn so much from them. Kudos to the boffins who are working to refine our knowledge of exoplanets.
P.S. Hopefully they won't follow their namesake, Cheops, a.k.a Khufu, who attempted to erase his father Sneferu from history and take credit for his works.
