I supported a touchscreen kiosk of training courses in Job Centres and similar venues 20 years ago. Those had 21" Illyama CRT touchscreens (they were bloody heavy) and other than recalibrating during my quarterly visit they were responsive and required no maintenance. Unlike the terrible HP printers also included in the cabinet which would usually stop working roughly 5 minutes after I left a site.
