Systemd is the tech bro version of manspreading
and about as cool. Lenny P, like many dinosaurs from his era, also seems to lack the basic wiring to understand the idea that the masses enjoy and expect a degree of informed consent in this day and age. He is a super prolific programmer, but he needs to take a keyboard break and get out of his echo chamber for a while.
He reminds me a little of that celebrity chef from Berkeley, only people aren't calling him out for crossing the lines, because they weren't race or gender based lines. A lack of sexism/racism dosen't make his arrogance or lack of concern for the community right, and he has no grounds to play the victim when those his actions impact complain.
