Another thing, if you change ISPs, as I did recently; on IPV4, the only thing I needed to change was the A record for gateway.mydomain. On IPV6, I would have got a completely different subnet, and I would have had to change everything, all the local devices, all the server virtual machines, all the DNS entries for everything, all the printer settings on anything that can access a printer, email settings for my scanner, firewall rules, and loads of other stuff.
