What do HTTP services care about public CA certificate issuing policy changes for?
What do intranets care about policy changes for public CAs? If you are using certs on intranet devices for HTTPS or TLS in general (or for whatever else you use X.509 certs for internally), you can set up your own internal self-signed private CA and ignore these policies used by public CAs.
