Isn't that what supposed to be so good about using the 'cloud', spin up and pay for what you need when you need it.
If you put your downloads on what is effectively a virtualised file server "in the cloud", then you may be able to cope with peak demand, but you will also end up paying for the bandwidth, and I'm willing to bet that the pricing tiers don't go up in small amounts. Peer-to-peer delivery means that it is mostly done with other people's bandwidth, which you don't have to pay for (in fact it's the people downloadling the software that bear the costs).
