You've got a really narrow definition of "gamer" is if all you can think of is fast-twitch games that require stupid-spec machines (with the winken-blinken lights and the other garbage those guys who'd rather massage hardware than play games like to install).
I've got an Origin laptop - it's only 1080p, but it's actually sufficient for my eyesight - which is an excellent gaming machine. It's fine with Farcry at High quality and Witcher 3 with everything maxed. It also weighs less than 2 kg and has multiple ports (including USB-C), so it's good for business stuff and has been around the world multiple times. The only thing that's a slight pain is it needing an external Bluray or DVD drive. But I hardly use that these days anyway.
