"HMRC's services all offering its own Government Gateway"
Wishing to access my income tax account online, and having failed with Verify and Experian, I tried HMRC more directly, but the credit reference agency that HMRC used took two seconds to tell HMRC that they should not recognise me.
So I am not allowed to look at my income tax account, though I have been paying income tax to the Inland Revenue and HMRC for several decades. It seems that one needs to have a credit record in order to be recognised as a person.
I recounted my failure in a YouTube video on GOV.UK HMRC so boring that it has only been viewed eight times in two weeks. Who cares?
