Funny thing, I previously thought that (WiFi would reduce the number of physical ports)...
Last year I got involved in a network upgrade for a charity, the 8 new WiFi AP's (needed to cover the site) and other bits of kit that needed a physical port meant they needed more physical ports (and a larger data comms cabinet) than they had previously...
I note the $30, suspect funding rules are slightly different, in the UK funders are more prepared to contribute to Capex (new switch) than Opex (biscuits) expenditure...
