I work under a manager who has to consider every single corner case, and, 9 times out of 10, some new feature won't be adopted because there's a chance Gerald, who works in bumfeck, alabama, won't like the colour green on a tuesday. Not quite the same, I'll grant you, but the feeling is the same.
