ARM have to do better? How do you figure this? It is the implementors job to do better. Consider the Apple Ax series of chips, other ARM based phone market processors do not even get close, they can hold their own against x86/x64 processors as well, the only flaw being the thermal/power constraints. I would love to see a server based Apple A12 and how it would compare to Xeons. ARM itself is not the problem.
