What, you're going to make us invent an infinite regression of new words to describe snowflakes because as each one gets associated with the reality it represents, it becomes tainted by its meaning and has to be replaced with a new euphemism.
Classic examples include sequences of terms used to indicate persons suffering the effects of a distinctly low IQ, or fat.
The continuing invention of replacement terms in the face of politically correct censorship* of previous terms is clear proof of the need to express the meaning of the terms involved.
