Why hasn't that stock gone up?
I worked for a stock market data company that originally had their software running on PDP-11s and while newer hardware was in use, the data format stayed the same. A few of us were using Berkshire Hathaway shares for testing screen formats since it was the highest value per share on the NYSE. We noticed that the class B never went over $32767 1/2. I mentioned that to someone who knew all the very odd settings in the database and a few keystrokes latter the price magically crossed that 16 bit value.
