I mean, it's too bad those dinner ladies and builders and prison guards didn't get paid, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the basic principle of outsourcing on the basis of "cheapest wins, always" is a bad idea, as inefficient and poorly run firms will naturally fail due to competition in the marketplace,and the government can't be expected to be propping up private HOLY SHIT, MY PENSION!!!!!
