Silly question or not?
Reading all about this at the reg and elsewhere, should other products that are I/O intensive within the system be concerned?
Does Meltdown/Spectre effect the chip-set in the SSD and Hard drives directly?
Will we be seeing firmware updates to address this, and what might the performance impact be on such component level hardware?
Any Reg experts online to advise :)
