@AC, You're right of course, but there is nothing to stop me asking someone else how *they* would do it and so come up with a viable list of tasks & dependencies - a PM should be capable of this at the very least. Unfortunately in my experience the vast majority see that as some kind of threat, so they don't ask, and then they fail. Ah well.
