PMs - mostly bad
Dear Feared Overlord, I have been involved in many projects as a worker bee and agree that the project manager makes or breaks a project. If you have a fabulous PM (and I have had, once or twice), all the other problems are held in check and he has delivered as close to on time, on budget and the functionality actually required (as opposed to what was thought was needed). Most PMs can't string A, B, and C into the right order, and even trailing Prince 2 and other certificates, they can't organise the proverbial brewery piss-up.
There are being who are 'doers' and they can achieve anything. They are the 1%. The rest are bleaters, and they are mostly in charge.
