What are the alternatives?

in a non corporate environment that:-

1) Is nothing to do with an Ad slinger like Google

2) works on Windows, Linux and MacOS

3) is not Lookout (because that is from MS)

I've been using it for... well, a very long time and to me it works day in, day out.

I can understand that the codebase may well need modernising but please don't mess with the GUI like Firefox seems to do every other release.

As for the rest, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
