Why is anyone surprised?
A few people I know that go to multiple countries have multiple passports. Got a Cuban stamp in you passport, you used to have to forget going to the US, luckily the Cuban's even kindly did separate cards to avoid a stamp in the passport, or how about going between Israel and Jordan or Palestine.
