The developers don't give a toss.
And this is my other reason why I'll never use systemd if I can use something else. To have the principal developer of one of the most critical parts of the running system tell people that faults and failure are either not his problem or not his fault is not acceptable.
Either be professional and support your code, or pick up your projectile toys and go away.
 Look - I can accept that some edge cases are going to be fairly unique. But when there are so many edge-failure cases that the dev refuses to acknowledge, it makes you start to wonder - especially when taking his ignorance about how the rest of the ecosystem works into account..
