In theory it could, if there were IFS (installable filesystem) drivers for them. I'm presuming that's what Paragon uses for their commercial EXTx and HFS+ commercial products. I thought that would have been a *much* better solution to high-capacity and *securable* microSD; get the industry to decide to support EXT4 for removable storage, and simply provide a driver installer for adding it to IFS (you'd only need to install the driver once, and it would support ALL devices using EXT4). But this is the same industry that insists on 500+ proprietary variations on the power-brick adapters, when it would be way cheaper to decide on 5 standardized ones.
