OpenStack in the Enterprise
Yet another Openstack "appliance" goes by the wayside, Openstack is hard (read lots of expertise and time), and constantly evolving, after having tried this internally, we learned that the number of bods required to support openstack made it a non-starter for home grown "clouds". To be fair experiments with VMWare didn't go much better, so the inevitable conclusion is using a public infrastructure is the preferable way to do "cloudy" things. Maybe Azure appliances will finally make it possible to run a local cloud without a massive staff... but I am not holding my breath.
