Those legacy line-of-business applications were designed for desktop PCs; nevermind binary compatibility, they won't work on a phone because they weren't designed for phones.

Reminds me of a pocket computer I had running windows CE. It was rather useless - Microsoft assumed you'd need to use a start button with hierarchical menus to get at programs. oh yes, you could make icons, but it wasn't easy on a small device.
