Exactly what I was thinking. All normal corporate laptops I've ever seen (Lenovo or HP running Win Vista, 7, 8) utterly choke when the email folder hits the 7000 messages mark. How a 10-year-old laptop could manage to work with over half a million emails in, is anybody's guess
