As far as I could tell from the discover conference (and much asking of questions since we have a major investment in c-class hardware), there wasn't a heck of a lot here with synergy (other than new hardware/switches). Assuming you already use software(s) to provision your systems, it is unclear to me what the templating really gives as an advantage (since in-the-end, it is still just a server, not true pooling of cpu/memory or anything like that) other than lock-in to the openview way of doing things. As for c-class, we learned the hardway that linking your enclosures (per early HP notions) to limit your uplinks is generally a bad idea unless you think those switch firmware updates will always go in perfectly/always (which is just not going to ever be true).
