I could possibly qualify, but my parents would fail (epic). Thus, logical approach is to say it is not specifically genetic, but rather an enjoyment of taking stuff apart from an early age to see how it works and what makes it tick. I knew how to use a Phillips head before I knew how to use my own legs...
