Companies have been making ferroelectric memory (FRAM) for years. The main one I can think of was Ramtron International, recently taken over by Cyprus Semiconductor.

Have one of these in mind for an upcoming project:

Adafruit 256kbit FRAM board

Adafruit 32kbit FRAM board

Both devices seem to be Fujitsu parts.
