The sexual case against Assange is weak at best, with "Victims" having dinner with him the next day.
You may want to research the issues surrounding the definition and after effects of rape, but that aside, if the case is so weak, then why not face the court hearing and get it dealt with?
Remember Assange was allowed to leave Sweden.
That is a rather liberal interpretation of "free to leave". Assange ran when he was told by his lawyer he was about to be picked up again, a fact the lawyer admitted after some stiff questioning.
And a few weeks in an English jail over bail issues will not worry him.
Well, so far he seems to prefer holing up in the embassy. Nothing is stopping him from coming out and submitting himself to the sort of legal processes any of us has to abide by, he's not special.
