can we be absolutely clear here
that we are only picking on Martha Fox because she's talking rubbish and not because she's a woman.
[The creation of the internet/www by a bunch of men is because they were the ones who had the position and opportunity to do it. A limitation of the scope of equal access at the time. And had there been more women in the US defence industry and CERN then, the contributions if not the outcome might have been different.]
Fortunately we have the shining example of M Fox. who dragged herself up to a position of wealth and influence despite the limitations of an education at a bog-comprehensiveindependent girls school and modern universityOxford. And then succeeded in working her way to the top in business (I won't say industry) in spite of glass ceiling etc.
Having been fortunatesuccessful in the dotcom boom, she then segued into being on the boards of various companies before being plucked from obscurity to be a government figurehead appointee on digital inclusion.
(I know, it's hardly private eye levels of wit and cynicism)
