Me too. It seems to be a disease in the electronics/tech/computer world that bigger/faster/more powerful must always be better and every tech company must keep advancing as quickly as possible, usually at the expense of reliability or completeness of product.

Unlike with computers, laptops, tablets and most especially mobile phones, people are simply not going to "upgrade" to the latest model of car every year or two. Maybe in 10 or 20 years time, if society changes or is nudged in the direction of not privately owning cars, then maybe people will just accept whichever car turns up at the doorstep when requested.
