Yahoo / Flickr rolling out crappy beta versions of websites to an unsuspecting and random handful of subscribers, then foisting a basically shit user experience on people sometime later? I mean, in the end, the service provider picks what experience the user will have and they try out different versions on experimental subsets of subscribers.
