Quattro Wireless was in the business of embedding adverts into mobile applications and web sites, but was bought by Apple in January to provide intelligence for Apple …

Ad free pocket devices would sell me!

We should all remember that the portable device user pays the freight for receiving these damn distractions, whilst also true for landline InterNet the cost/delay is less significant.

For me advert elimination would be a PLUS!

just because you put an i in front of it

doesn't make it clever.... especially not when your second letter is in Uppercase.

It reminds me of the dilbert episodes when they realise that all the brandnames are trademarked, except the disease ones.

Oh well, at least it's accurate.

(hopes he isn't the 100th person to point this out)

    I hate advertising so much.....

I’ll have to install ad blockers on my mobile too.

So Apple et all, are shoving more crap in my face and I'm paying for the bandwidth, and possibly for the ad blocker. We should sue them for wasting resources on a device I purchase.

Just who are those people who rush out an buy stuff just because thye saw an ad?

(Why do we now use *stars* to emphasise words, when in the written word we CAPITALISE, more stupid "social netiquette")

When you use ad supported "free" apps

you're not meant to be blocking the ads paying for the apps.

Or another way, buy ad free apps and there is no need to block any ads.

      Because.

If you CAPITALIZE, you're YELLING in netspeak.

      Simple, eh?

Paris because I've been wondering all morning why quite a few people here want to do the nasty with her. No one here knows the chick has a STD? Probably more than one, but herpes has been confirmed.... yucka

"Just who are those people who rush out an buy stuff just because thye saw an ad?"

      Is that a rhetorical question?

These are the same muppets who rush out to buy the latest hyped up piece of apple crap, they love being bombarded with adds that want to sell them things they don't need, they're probably the same type of people who buy penis enlargement products because they see an add saying it works, or buy cheap Viagra because they got an email.

Owning an iphony doesn't make you smarter, just more gullible. :)
