      @Bruce

      Carrie Fisher was psychotic. Aretha Franklin was just angry.

      @ Boris

      No scene with an altar boy but there is the but with Cab Calloway hanging around a group of children at the orphanage, and the bit in the restaurant where Jake asks the fellow diner "how much for the little girl"!

      title

      That should be

      ""There's no scene of them alone with an altar boy."

      Just one of the benefits of a Catholic education.

    Out of curiosity

    am I the only one who remembers seeing a version of the film that had Jake proclaiming at the end of the Gospel scene

    "Jesus Christ, I've seen the light God loves <non-pc term for persons of African-American descent>"

    That's funny, I don't remember the bit where they took the choirboy out to dinner at a fancy restaurant* in London.

    The new Oldsmobiles are in early this year.

    Hmmm, so it's OK to commit a crime as long as the church gets it's share of the gold...

      As it was, is, and shall ever be..

      Until people grow out of religion, which unfortunately doesn't seem to be happening any time soon.

    Hardly catholic

    Never heard the pope come out with anything to match "It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. "

    So the next time a team of Jehova's Witness shows up at my door, I'll be shoving my Blues Brothers DVD in their face and demanding whether or not they've seen it.

    I like that idea.
