Three Card Trick with Company Registrations

    Quote

Not that Picsel isn't still around, the new company rapidly changed its name to "Picsel UK Limited", not to be confused with "Picsel Trustees Limited", which is also active. Unlike "Picsel Technologies Limited", which became "Picsel (Research) Limited" and is in administration, along with "Picsel (IP) Limited", formerly "Picsel Technologies Limited" and before that "Picsel Research Limited". And if that's not confusing enough, there's "Picsel Holdings Limited", formally "Picsel (Holdings) Limited" to consider, before we even start on the Guernsey-registered companies and "Picsel (Malta)".

    FAIL

    Picsel (Malta)

Just what you'd expect from a company whose strategy shifted to patent litigation. Insert shattered myths about "Great British innovation" here.

It's over Imran, it's time to accept failure.

It's never nice to see a company fail, but I must say that the owners are clearly to blame. Somehow they just can't seem to accept that it was over a LONG time ago, way before they stopped paying staff. Having talks with mobile phone companies is not the same as signing and completing deals with them. Money wasted over the years on crap decisions is bound to catch up with you sooner or later. I'm worry it happened, but can see why.

The name change comes as no surprise...

The Directors behind Picsel have always been ducking and diving behind company names. The Web Factory Scotland, Focus Blue, Picsel Technologies Limited, Picsel UK Limited. All they seem to do is change the company name, start again and then repeat the same mistakes.
