    not rocket science

    All they need to do is let the users prove that they own a copy of the game on UMD by registering it against there PSN ID on a PSP 1000/2000/3000. Once thats been done you are given a redeem code to use on either the PS Store or PC Store to download a digital version.

    Once the game has been registerd to a users account, it cant be downloaded again unless its that user re-downloading the game.

    Typical biased media, turning a positive into a negative... It's pretty rare companies ever bother, so it's pure fanboyism on your part that fact you don't bother to give kudos to Sony for doing this.

    It was clearly stated (perhaps not clearly enough for dumb journalists), that PSP Go does not replace PSP3000, they will compliment each other, both will exist and all PSP games from this point on will be on digital AND UMD, certainly all 1st party titles, and most 3rd party titles (although it’s at the discretion of the publisher, but given the better profits from digital you can assume 99% will be digital).

    The problem is not future purchases, it's wether all the games people have already bought can be used on the PSPGo. If they can, and the equipment to do so is cheap (preferably free, but this is Sony) then that's great. If not, then they are pissing on their customers. Again.
