    You forgot to mention that Sun already has an open source SOA offering, OpenESB. Good, bad, or otherwise, Eclipse is not first to the game.

    ... ServiceMix, Mule, Camel, Spring-dm/integration - all there in the OSGi/SOA/ESB open source space before Eclipse.
