    We're running Sage 100c.

    "c" stands for Cloud.

    Cloud stands for "pay us a subscription for new icons on your on-premises software".

    It's not (directly) my checkbook, so I don't suppose I care too much.

      cloud as in cuckoo land.

      We had to "upgrade" to cloud due to MTD requirements.

      Last week Sage told us they were increasing monthly subs by 20% due to technology "investment"

      If only there was a workable alternative...
