Presumably, medial motion refers to pointing your toes inwards and lateral to pointing your toes outwards, but that doesn't really explain it.
If used in their strict anatomical sense, then Medial means towards the centreline of the body, and Lateral away from the centreline, so for example, the medial side of the knee is the side closest to the other knee whereas the lateral side of the knee is the outside of the knee. So your presumption is probably correct.
What Puma actually mean is anybody's guess.

The expensive football boots are very good. I've got a pair. They don't make you good but they let you be as good as you are without getting in the way. In my case they let me be marginally better than terrible.
I've had £20 football boots in the past. It's like playing in walking boots by comparison. My current ones weight practically nothing, fit incredibly well and are so thin.
I'd definitely recommend decent football boots. ( The three pairs of similarly priced rugby boots I own were perhaps less good value, but I love them too ).

Do eSports have a car racing section? They probably use foot pedals so comfy, sorry, competitive footwear would be useful. Motorists can buy shoes designed for driving. Gloves too.
The Puma socks do have a nice design. And they haven't gone overboard with the branding yet. That'll come with later designs. (PUMA IGNITE LIMITLESS 2 EVOKNIT TRAINING SHOE. )

Mmm, simracers can buy those, too. It takes a while to stop feeling like an idiot while lacing up your OMP boots before sitting in front of the computer, but for some reason it works.
Proper racing gloves are a must too, if you have a direct-drive wheel, because those things can mess your hands right up.

You need to do a bit more manual labour, when your hands are callous central gloves become optional
Only time I ever wer gloves for manual stuff is when I'm pulling out nettles or thorny stuff, just in case I get stung / pricked on one of the few still sensitive spots

If you're all that worried about your girlfriend getting hurt when gaming, a good set of gardening gloves will work just as well as proper Nomex when you're in your mummy's basement. Besides, I really don't think that my SFI-15 gloves would be conducive to fiddling about with your joystick.

To be honest, it's not an attractive drink in either taste or appearance, so an unattractive name seems appropriate,
I was given a bottle at an event and tried it out of curiousity...I don't think I would have sampled it otherwise, and I certainly won't be doing it again

It's amazing how snarky and defensive users of Soylent and similar products get if you dare criticise the products. Soylent has a catalog of product recalls of their powdered products and produced a bar that gave customers vomiting and diarrhea. Plus I find the idea a bit affected, that people plan to miss meals, and it seems far too many people in the information age aren't getting the message about variety and eating their five a day.
They're common issue in US hospitals. They keep the feet warm and they have rubberized strips on them to prevent the wearer from going flat on their face on polished floors. They probably don't cost 80 pounds/dollars a pair even with the inflated prices we pay for medical care in the US.
(DVT and other circulation issues are managed with a pump device that hooks over the end of the bed. Its used with a compression boot, its designed to inflate every minute or two.)
Well considering the Puma link leads to the motorsport section I would guess they're designed for driving sims that are used with driving chairs. As already noted by others, this looks quite serious, so having specialist shoes is to be expected.

It could be just the knowledge that their opponent is wearing special socks that unsettles them. Likewise the knowledge that you've just spent £40 per foot on what are basically 'socks' will give you a wonderful sense of entitlement and give you the confidence to masturbate faster. Or something.
